Abstract : The effect of sintering on the microstructure, mechanical and physical properties of free-standing, oxyacetylene and arc-plasma-sprayed molybdenum bodies was studied. Significant increases in tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, density, and purity of sprayed molybdenum were achieved by a hydrogen sinter. A microstructure similar to recrystallized molybdenum sheet was obtained. (Author)
