Abstract : A FORTRAN II program for the matrix displacement finite-element method of analysis of thin shells of revolution subjected to axisymmetric loading is presented. Included are descriptions of the idealization and the static analysis of the structure, calculations of the element stiffness matrix, the element mass matrix, and the stress resultants and couples. A complete FORTRAN listing of SABOR I is given together with the program flow diagram and input and output instructions. The complete results for two example problems are listed to enable the user to check the adaptation of the computer program to his facility. (Author)
