Abstract : A review of the ratio of hard to soft materials indicates a current in-house status of 35% difficult-to-machine versus 65% easy-to-machine materials. The 8-10 year future time period reverses this ratio, suggesting 70% difficult-to-machine versus 30% easy-to-machine materials. (Author)
