Abstract : For the behavioral scientist, the computer provides a means of performing complex statistical analyses and a method of simulating systems of interacting variables. Data processing techniques have been applied to educational studies, information handling and communication problems. The computer has served not only as a powerful investigatory tool but also as an instigator of more significant problems. In both of these roles computers have been having a profound effect on behavioral science research. (Author)
