Abstract : This program has as its goal the development of video and superheterodyne detection techniques which are appropriate for the millimeter and submillimeter range of the spectrum. A theoretical method of analysis of a tunnel diode in a waveguide is developed and the results are correlated with experimental data of other experimentors. Results are given for twelve loop detectors which were tested at 4mm and for an X-band model. (Author)
