Abstract : The author considers a gas having no viscosity and which is thermally not conducting. The object of this report is to eliminate from the equations governing the motion of this gas all the unknown quantities other than the velocity. This elimination gives equations of compatibility containing only the velocity and the external force, which is supposed to be known. The inverse method is employed.
