Abstract : The Edwards Personal Preference Schedule, a forcedchoice personality 'need' inventory, was evaluated as a predictor of success or failure in naval flight training. The EPPS failed to discriminate between student aviators who completed training successfully and those who dropped voluntarily or failed due to poor performance. (Author)
