Abstract : In evaluation tests conducted as part of the Navy's program for developing flexible pipe connections capable of accepting relative motions caused by vibration, shock, thermal movement and hull deflections, MEL has found two units worthy of further evaluation, one after redesign of sealing arrangement and another after being placed in a new configuration. A third and fourth failed in this phase of the evaluation program. (Author)
