Abstract : Information on seasonal environmental change is of substantial military importance since equipment design criteria, logistics, and basic survival requirements are all affected by the variables of seasonality. This paper describes a program in which photographic time-lapse techniques were used to portray landscapes in a tupical midlatitude region, New England, from the same site at different seasons. To show the full impact of seasonal variation the identical field-of-view was repeated. All landscapes were recorded in color.
