Abstract : Photoelectric recording of the spectrum of small batching of substance has an advantage over photographic recording not only in the part of a significant shortening of the time of measurement of the spectral lines but in relationship to a significant increase in sensitivity. Thus, for example when working with samples containing sulphur for development on the spectrograph ISP-22 with glass optics of the sulphur line 5320.6 A it was necessary that each spectrum be obtained from six support electrodes with the products of transfer - 6-fold exposure was carried out for each spectrum; on the vacuum polychrometer one electrode was sufficient for the measurement of sulphur line intensity. Thus, small doses produced by contact-spark transfer a substance may be successfully measured during photoelectric recording of the spectrum on an ordinary apparatus both for analytic purposes and when solving problems of a research nature.
