Abstract : The Athens center Ionospheric Institute recorded a large number of transmissions from active satellites S-66 and BE-C on 40 Mc/s fr. folling a common program established by Joint Satellite Study Group. Some results on large scale irregularities are discussed and a new method to calculate the ionospheric horizontal gradient in electron content is presented.
