Abstract : The attitudes held by enlisted Marines towards reenlistment, leadership, and their military organization were assessed after ten weeks of basic training again after two years of service. Two-year attitudes were positive in affect although somewhat lower in intensity than those held upon completion of basic training. Variations in attitude were related to pre-service educational attainment and occupational assignment in the Marine Corps. (Author)
