Abstract : A stand and measuring apparatus was developed to study creep and vibratory creep in alloys E1726 and E1652. The initial sections of the curves of creep and vibratory creep were investigated for a test time up to 40 hours. The tests were conducted in conditions of a variable temperature and power regime. At test temperatures of 900C and 1000C under constant and changed regimes, upon imposition of a vibrational load alloy E1726 exhibited an increased rate of creep at the very start of the test (1-3 hours). After this the rates of creep and vibratory creep remained approximately identical. At any moment of time the absolute expansion under vibratory creep was greater than that under creep. The subposition noted in the literature about the possibility of changing the direction of the effect of vibration upon creep as the test temperature changes was confirmed. The imposition of vibration upon the static part of the load for alloy E1652 at 900 and 1000C cause opposite effects. In the first case vibration somewhat strengthened the alloy, and in the second case it significantly facilitated deformation.
