Abstract : To study the performance of the DEWline ice cap stations, the following semiannual observations are made: footing elevation and settlement, horizontal angle measurements to indicate lateral movement of the structure, measurement of vertical movement in the sewage disposal and fuel storage systems, and measurement of snow temperature, accumulation, and density. The 1963 observations indicate that in general the structures and utilities are performing as predicted. (Author)
