Abstract : In this paper, finite difference approximations to Dirichlet problems for quasilinear, uniformly elliptic partial differential equations are studied. Convergence, with decreasing mesh width h, of solutions of finite difference analogues to the solution of the given continuous problem is established by means of bounds on the error in the solutions of the finite difference problems.
