Abstract : During the spring of 1958, Haemaphysalis warburtoni ticks were collected in the upper mountain belt of Kepet-Dag. One female was collected from a leopard; two males, two nymphs, and three larvae were from a Wild Goat (Capra hircus aegagrus Erxl.); and one male and one nymph were collected from a horse. On comparing these ticks with specimens of the same species in the collection of the Zoological Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, and with this species as described in literature, a qualitative variation of some criteria in these ticks was noted. A description of the ticks found is presented. (Author)
