Abstract : In this work application is given of the new method of solving boundary problems to the first basic beharmonic problem for a simply connected final region. By using the properties of the biharmonic potentials studied by Lauricella, the author constructs some complete systems of functions, and then seeks the solution in the form of a generalized series, in accordance with this system. There is proved the uniform convergence of the series.
