Abstract : In the author's previous paper (The problem of determining unstable forces in a cascade of airfoils, Inzh, Zh., 1, 5, (1965)), general expressions for the lift force, momentum, suction force - acting on the oscillating profiles (airfoil blades) in cascade - were obtained in the form of four addends. Two of these addends are determined by values of tangential components of velocity u(xi) - which is an unknown function - in wakes of the airfoils (profiles) in cascade. For calculation of function u(xi), the Volterra integral equation was derived. In the present work, an analytical solution of this integral equation and the unknown tangential component of velocity u(xi) are given.
