Abstract : The interaction is compared of a gravitational field with electromagnetic and electron-positron fields respectively, as well as the self-interaction of a gravitational field in the general theory of relativity and in a generalized linear theory of gravitation. The generalization of linear theory of gravitation amounts to taking into account the intrinsic nonlinearity of the gravitational field. The above-mentioned interactions are identical in both theories up to the second approximation in the gravitational constant alpha. If there are any discrepancies, they must be sought in the higher approximations. It is also shown that the linear approximation of the general theory of relativity contains, just as the linear theory of gravitation, arbitrary constants, and that Gupta's formulation is a particular case of the linear approximation of the general theory of relativity. The above method of analysis of the interaction with a gravitational field greatly simplifies the calculations and makes it possible to use flat metrics in all the approximations of the theory.
