Abstract : This report describes a method for making coarse quantitative estimates of crew composition for a two-man Army aerial vehicle. It assumes that crew composition depends predominantly on the tasks men are assigned to perform. For illustration the method is applied to an aerial-vehicle concept for high-speed, low-altitude surveillance and target acquisition.
