Abstract : The report contains applications of paramagnetic resonance in chemistry. The criteria for the successful use of electron paramagnetic resonance are listed. The first part, Chapters I-IV, considers questions connected with the experimental technology theory of the method and treatment of experimental data. The second part, Chapters VII-XII concerns the use of electron paramagnetic resonance to solve a number of contemporary chemistry problems. Chapter I gives general information about the method, its theoretical basis and EPR spectrometers. Chapter II deals more specifically with spectrometers, particularly the EPR-2 type. Chapter III expounds the EPR method's contemporary theory, in which theoretical problems are discussed. Chapters IV, V, and VI give methods of the primary treatment of spectra and the extraction of chemical information from them. Part Two considers new prospects in chemistry as a result of the EPR methods. New ways of investigating intermediate substances and elementary acts possible after discovering the EPR are cited.
