Abstract : Experimental and theoretical research in spectroscopy continued in the shock tube laboratory with emphasis on the identification and position of atomic and molecular features, the strengths and intensities of discrete autoionizing and continuous transitions and on the study of line profiles and processes which influence the positions and widths of lines. Oscillator strengths were measured by standard photographic photometry and by a new hook technique with the Mach-Zehnder and Littrow spectrograph combination. In addition, the scanning Fabry-Perot interferometer was used to measure line profiles and to study Van der Waal broadening. (Author)
