Abstract : An analytical method is developed for calculating the one-dimensional flow in hypersonic nozzles of a simplified model of air, which takes into account dissociational and vibrational non-equilibrium effects using the sudden-freezing hypothesis of Bray. The model gas consists of a mixture of oxygen, treated as an ideal dissociating gas, in an inert nitrogen diluent. (Author)
