Abstract : The data contained in 2,122 survey forms collected from maintenance personnel in 20 different military units in the Far East, the Continental United States, and Europe were analyzed to answer two questions: (1) Which of the items included in the survey were useful in predicting job-satisfaction. (2) Which of the items included in the survey were useful in predicting an airman's intent to re-enlist in the United States Air Force. The results of these analyses are presented with recommendations of four actions believed to be capable of increasing job-satisfaction levels and re-enlistment rate. (Author)
