Abstract : Theories due to Yamamoto, Lodge and Kaye are reformulated using base vectors embedded in the deforming macroscopic continuum. Lodge's theory is extended to non-Gaussian networks and Kaye's to allow for the presence of entanglement junctions of different complexities. (Author)
