Abstract : The report describes protective coloration exhibited by animals. Certain animals that can change color to match the environment were studied in regards to their structural arrangement and the stimuli required to cause the change in color. Consideration was given to the psycho-physiological study of designs for the creation of optical illusion that could be applied to camouflage. (Author)
