Abstract : The dispersion relations for zero sound and spin waves in low temperature Landau Fermi liquids are analyzed. It is pointed out that besides the well-known condition for the propagation of m = 1 modes F sub 1 > 6 or G sub 1 > 6, the m = 0 modes require F sub 1 > -F sub 0/(1 + 1/3 F sub 0) or G sub 0 > -G sub 0/(1 + 1/3 G sub 0).
