Abstract : The Naval Missile Center has developed a digital computer program that enables the engineer to obtain root locus plots easily and accurately for higher-order systems using the IBM 7094 computer and the SC 4020 plotter. The output is compatible with the one obtained by using the ESIAC analog computer, thus the complex plane on which values of s are plotted is the log s plane rather than the s plane. (Author)
