Abstract : This source angle Integration program is one of a group of programs written at the US Army Nuclear Defense Laboratory to sort and merge the massive amounts of data produced by the Neutron Gamma Monte Carlo (NGM) code of the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory. The output of this NGM code describes radiation flux at certain detector points as a function of source energy, the solid angle through which the radiation left the source, the time the radiation reached the detector, the energy of the radiation at the detector, and the solid angle through which it entered the detector. This source angle integration program is written in GE's General Assembly Program Language for the GE 225 digital computer with 16K core storage and 6 magnetic tape drives. The program integrates over source solid angle and automatically adjusts the fluxes so that the output will be in the form of neutron flux per source neutron. The flux from the solid angles can be multiplied by weighting functions for an asymmetric source. The output of this program is on magnetic tape in a format compatible with the other programs in this series. (Author)
