Abstract : The electron density and collision frequency of air-water mixtures heated in a reflected shock wave zone were compared with the electron density and collision frequency for dry air similarly conditioned. Amounts of water vapor up to 10 percent have only slight effect on the electron density, and no detectable effect on the measured collision frequency. (Author)
