Abstract : The paper explores cross-cultural innovation by analyzing data based on actual field studies. The primary criterion for case selection was that the characteristics of the innovator and the recipient groups be described. The country where the innovation was attempted is listed, along with the specific type of innovation proposed and the specific description of the change effort. The cases are then evaluated in terms of success and failure, and the most important factors, positive or negative, influencing the outcome are analyzed. The emerging pattern of the total process is discussed. (Author)
