Abstract : H. warburtoni ticks were revealed by the authors for the first time in Armenia, in the alpine-steppe zone of Sevan area. Their areas of habitat are piled up boulders and stone fragments. The principal hosts of young stages are Snow Voles. Young stages were found also in insignificant numbers on Gray Hamsters, Common Field Mice, and Small Brown-toothed Shrews, of which the latter 2 species are new hosts of larvae and numphs. In conditions of Armenia, the developmental cycle of H. warburtoni apparently is 3 years. (Author)
