Abstract : Interrogation of patients revealed that most of them (19 persons) felt weakness, lassitude, and sweating after being discharged from the hospital. In five patients (women) great loss of hair with patches of alopecia was noted. The other five convalescents complained of rheumatic pains in arms and legs, and paresthesia (numbness of fingers, pricking sensation, and sensation of crawling ants). Relapse of hemorrhagic fever or other repeated manifestations of hemorrhagic syndrome was not observed in a single case. (Author)
