Abstract : A combination of other strategies as 'sudden assault,' 'attack by force,' 'ambush,' 'creating disturbance around certain areas,' 'encircling but not attacking' 'faking east but attacking west' 'weak at the positions believed to be weak and heavily reinforced at positions believed to be strong' 'luring the enemy deep' and various tactics based on concrete battle conditions, are used to carry out the 'People's War.' The concrete operation of the Vietnamese communists' 'People's War' is to reach the so-called goal of 'destroying the established enemies' by fighting for the 'control' of the battlefield under the prerequisite of the so-called 'fully developing the art of battle' using 'mechanized movements to the extremity' and 'phantom-like movements' 'secretly surrounding the enemy under the protective coverings of nature and the mass' which is followed by the 'sudden violent movements such as penetrating into enemy territory. Using the examples of victories over the communists in Greece, the Philippines and Malaya as examples, explanation is offered that the principles of 'battle objective' 'political struggle' which are operative in the 'People's War' claimed by the communist bandits and Vietnamese communists are deceitful and hypocritic while the fanatic belief of 'relying on people with political consciousness' is proved baseless by the 'willingness to stay in the middle.'
