Abstract : Summaries of ARCASONDE 1A meteorological rocket thermodynamic data are presented for Cape Kennedy AFS based on data acquired in 1964-1966. Extremes, means, and standard deviations as a function of month and season are shown for altitudes of 80,000 feet through 200,000 feet. The data are statistically treated to provide an estimate of seasonal, diurnal, and interdiurnal periodicities at 160,000 feet over Cape Kennedy AFS. A nomogram of the atmospheric density as a function of local time and month is presented. (Author)
