Abstract : Measurements were made of the superconducting upper critical field of films of tin and lead disordered due to deposition on substrates held at liquid helium temperature. The behavior differs accordingly as the film thickness is 'thin' or 'thick' compared to the magnetic penetration depth. Analysis of the two temperature regimes is made within the framework of the Ginsburg-Landau theory. (Author)
