Abstract : Using published specific heat data, the entropy, enthalpy, and Gibbs free energy of polymethylacrylate (PMA) and polymethacrylic acid (PMAA) were calculated over the temperature range 0 to 210K. The encraty, Cp/T vs. T, calculated for both PMA and PMAA, exhibits a maximum at about 70K. Neither of these systems exhibits any transition over the temperature range considered. (Author)
