Abstract : Previous papers analyzed the play of subjects in a series of experiments involving 2 x 2-payoff-matrix two-person nonconstant-sum games in which the players knew only their own payoffs and not those of their opponents. The present paper explores the effects of the last mentioned feature, the lack of information about the opponent's payoff matrix.
