Abstract : At an elevated temperature of 1000 degrees C the TiNi intermetallic exists as ordered cesium chloride-B2 type lattice. The ordered structure may be stable or metastable depending upon cooling rate to room temperature. The ordered and disordered structures appear to co-exist. (Author)
