Abstract : A model is proposed for the prediction of retinal damage as a result of laser radiation striking the eye. The differential equation for heat conductivity is replaced by a numerical difference equation and a FORTRAN computer program is presented which will solve the equation for given input. A sample case is shown and program listings are given. (Author)
