Abstract : A configuration containing 3 practical grounded amplifiers and passive RC one-ports which is capable of synthesizing any general lumped network function is derived. The network function specification can be in the form of a driving-point immittance function or any of the four forms of transfer functions. Non ideal controlled source models and the source and load impedances are explicitly included in the configuration, thus making its usage especially attractive from a practical viewpoint. Of particular interest is that complete compensation for the poles of the high gain amplifiers is achieved in the synthesis procedure. Thus one can obtain high gains with practical element values without loss of bandwidth. (Author)
