Abstract : The Central Submarine Arctic Ridge is considered as a continuation of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. It represents an epiplatform orogeny which is developing on the present ocean platform, and which differs from the Lomonosov and Mendeleyev ridges by geological, magnetic and seismic features.
