Abstract : The goal of the study is to develop a creative and innovative research and educational program in public policy and administration. It is believed that the program's integrity can best be assured by building from a well-formulated teaching plan in public administration leading toward a professional, graduate degree. The curriculum should also serve to define the boundaries for creative individual and group endeavors in research in public policy and in public administration. In order to attract or retain a staff of the quality necessary to fulfill these goals, ultimately there must be doctoral programs, interdepartmental or interdisciplinary in character, in which students are closely associated with the research activities of a public administration faculty.
