Abstract : Sources of Nd147 were produced by neutron irradiation of Nd146 deposited by vacuum sublimation onto aluminum foil backings. The internal conversion electron spectrum was studied with an iron-core 50.5-cm radium beta-ray spectrometer. The transition energies (in keV) were 91.04 plus or minus 0.05, 120.44 plus or minus 0.05, 196.67 plus or minus 0.08, 275.46 plus or minus 0.08, 319.45 plus or minus 0.09, 398.04 plus or minus 0.09, 410.33 plus or minus 0.29, 439.78 plus or minus 0.09, 530.92 plus or minus 0.08, 589.03 plus or minus 0.12, 594.59 plus or minus 0.12 and 685.78 plus or minus 0.07. The 489 K line was observed, but the energy could not be accurately determined. Internal conversion coefficients were determined with the aid of relative gamma-ray intensities from other experiments. Possible multipolarity assignments were made. (Author)
