Abstract : The overaging of the gamma prime precipitate in nickel-base alloys is an important aspect of the general stability because this precipitate provides the major strengthening mechanism in many of these alloys. The overaging process has been studied in Inconel 702 nickel-base alloy using electron microscopy. (Author)
