Abstract : The report deals with the various factors which influence the cooling of concrete exposed to winter weather and with the quantitative methods by which weather data may be applied in practical cases. The overall situation is examined on the basis of the two general problems: the prediction of the environmental conditions to which a concrete mass will be subjected, and the prediction of the resulting conditions throughout that mass.
