Abstract : The ductility of the surface material of solid and coated specimens can be approximated by progressive bending, using successively smaller 'bend diameters.' Bend test measurements are related to significantly defined mechanical properties of material. Rationally successive intervals of increasing curvature of bending are recommended. (Author)
