Abstract : In preparation for the development of thermal capabilities into the fuselage analysis program, FUSARG, the thermal displacement column or H matrix for the idealized elements of this program were developed. The elements under consideration were the: (1) composite frame, (2) longitudinal effective flange, and (3) skin shear panel. The equations for the determination of stresses and deflection for a structure subjected to loads, temperature strains, and cutouts were developed. (Author)
