Abstract : The examination of rodents does not give basis to consider them reservoirs of lengthy conservation of the virus of Japanese encephalitis. Studies of the vectors showed that their organism is the center of an intensive multiplication of the virus, also that there is a transovarial transmission of the virus from one generation to the other. Therefore, the mosquito is considered the most probable reservoir of conservation of the virus of Japanese encephalitis in the inter-epidemical period. (Author)
