Abstract : This describes a program in coincidence measurements of atomic collisions. After a violent single atomic collision both particles are studied to determine their state of ionization (after the collision) and the inelastic energy loss associated with that collision. The argon ion-atom collision, and similar neon and krypton collision are studied. In some cases structure is found in the inelastic energy losses wherein two or three discrete values of this energy loss are found at certain energies on scattering angles. The pertinent region for argon-argon collisions is at 25 KeV and 16 degrees, for neon-neon collisions it is at 200 KeV and 8 degrees, and for krypton-krypton collisions the structure is found at 25 KeV, and 9 degrees.
